The first cohort of students who did this programme paid $600 for it.
As part of ETG's 19th anniversary celebrations, you get 7-day access β free.
Since 2007, ETG has guided over 4,000 A Level Economics students across 19 cohorts β through syllabus changes, through COVID, through countless late-night WhatsApp sessions. The CSQ Booster is our anniversary gift to every student who needs it. More is coming in June.
This is the first anniversary offer. More celebrations are coming throughout June 2026.
Claim Your Free Access NowYou've read the textbook. You attend class. When your teacher explains a concept, it clicks. But then the case study paper comes back β and your marks are nowhere near where they should be, on a paper worth 30 marks for H2 students and 40 marks for H1.
You go back and read your answer. It doesn't look obviously wrong. You can't figure out what you're missing.
Here's what's missing. A CSQ answer isn't just about knowing Economics. It's about knowing how the examiner reads Economics β what they're looking for in a trend question, what "evaluate" actually means when 8 to 12 marks are on the line, and exactly when to stop describing and start applying.
The problem isn't your understanding. It's that nobody has shown you the structure behind a high-scoring CSQ answer β from reading the extract, to building the diagram, to writing the evaluation that gets you into the top mark band.
That's what the CSQ Booster is for.
Most students lose marks in the same places, every time: reading the wrong time period on a trend question. Writing theory without anchoring it to the specific case context. Ending an evaluation with a fence-sitting sentence instead of a supported position. Describing what a table shows instead of what it means.
These are technique gaps, not knowledge gaps. Technique can be taught systematically β in a way that transfers to every case study you'll see in school, in prelims, and in the A Level paper itself.
The CSQ Booster exists to close those gaps β not by adding more content, but by teaching the structure behind every single question type the examiner sets.
Every quote below is verbatim β from students across Singapore's top JCs. No editing. No paraphrasing.

The CSQ Booster teaches the DATE framework β the structure Mr Eugene Toh has used to mark and teach A Level Economics case studies for 19 years.
What does the extract, table, or figure actually show? Reading precisely β and only within the scope the question asks for.
Connecting theory to the specific case. Not writing about "firms" in general β writing about this market, this country, this context.
The economic concepts: demand-supply diagrams, externalities, AD-AS, PED implications β the mechanics that explain what the data shows.
The layer that separates a B from an A. Judgement, conditions, time frames, magnitude, conflicting effects β and when to challenge the data itself.
Lower-order questions (1β6 marks) typically require D, A, T. Higher-order questions (8 marks and above) require all four β with E doing most of the work at the top of the mark band.
Every lesson works through real case studies drawn from JC prelim papers and A Level papers. Same question patterns. Different cases. Until they're familiar.
Marking the exact time period and scope before writing. Identifying direct, inverse, and proportional relationships. Quantifying change using percentage or absolute figures β not just describing a chart.
Identifying which demand or supply factor shifted, drawing the diagram accurately, deciding which curve shifts more when both move β and using the extract to justify the assumption, not guessing.
Structuring for vs against. Building from earlier case parts into the higher-order answer. Writing evaluation that goes beyond summary β judgement with conditions, time frames, and magnitude.
Recognising when the given data is insufficient for a firm conclusion β and specifying exactly what additional information is needed. A skill almost no student uses. A skill that earns top marks.
Sugar tax, education subsidies, biofuel subsidies, price ceilings and floors, competitive supply. Topic-specific frameworks for the micro cases that appear repeatedly across prelim papers.
Distinguishing demand-pull vs cost-push vs imported inflation and matching the right policy to each. Singapore's MAS exchange rate stance. Multiplier analysis. BOP effects. Standard of living trade-offs.
A real extract, worked through using the DATE framework β showing exactly how marks are allocated and where most students lose them.
